ABOUT

I formed CJArchitect Ltd in 2020 following a successful career in larger practices in London, Singapore and Somerset. Having established myself as a trusted, creative architect with a wealth of experience in commercial development, and an ability to lead complex Project Teams, I now enjoy the opportunity and freedom that comes from running my own business.

This website is designed to illustrate the diverse range of projects that CJA is delivering. It showcases sample projects across different fields and shows our success in winning bid competitions and securing planning applications for challenging sites. Successful planning application for 69 dwellings and 32,500sqft office alongside a 65-bed extra care accommodation on a brownfield, canal-side redevelopment site in Hemel Hempstead.

WILLOWBROOK PHASE 4

Reserved matters planning permission for a Local Centre mixed-use commercial development with 54 flats and 5 houses on an urban extension site to the north side of Didcot.

TATTENHOE PARK

Winning competition bid and subsequent planning application to deliver 115 new homes as phased expansion of the Homes England masterplan at Tattenhoe, Milton Keynes.

HARDINGSTONE

Masterplanning entry for 250 new homes with substantial public open space and SuDS water management at Hardingstone, Northampton.

SEABOROUGH, DORSET

Planning application to convert grade II listed barns and associated stables and piggeries to residential accommodation alongside landscape restructuring.

THE TROUGH, SOMERSET

Farm diversification projects: in this instance, a successful planning application to add a dutch-barn inspired events hall to an established farm with farmshop and holiday-let accommodation.

Planning permission granted for a 3 storey end-of-terrace dwelling on a compact site in flood zone 3 and in close proximity to a locally listed building.
